BIOREADY

BIOREADY, Ukraine Impact Cluster started, first equipment delivery in preparation. Adverio, Oosterhof-Holman Milieutechniek (OHM), Bioclear Earth, the University of Groningen, Ukrainian Technology Company and NTUU have joined forces in the BIOREADY-Ukraine Impact Cluster, which started on 1 September 2026.

Led by Adverio and supported by Advance Consulting, the cluster will develop and demonstrate innovative biogas and biomethane solutions for Ukraine. The cluster builds on earlier cooperation in which OHM, Ukrainian Technology Company and Adverio relocated a biogas upgrading installation from Groningen to Ukraine: biogasopwerkingssinstallatie. The installation operates at full capacity.  

Preparations for the first equipment delivery is in progress. A laboratory scrubber for H2S and CO2 removal, previously used and owned by Adverio and used at the University of Groningen, is delivered to NTUU in Kyiv this year. The laboratory-scale demonstration unit comprises a chemical scrubber for H₂S removal and an amine scrubber for CO₂ removal. It will enable NTUU and UTC to conduct fundamental research into biogas cleaning and upgrading technologies.
