Exciting news: Today the “Notitie Reikwijdte en Detailniveau” for Perpetual Next’ biomethanol developments in Delfzijl, NL is published.
This marks the start of the formal environmental impact assessment. After long and hard work together with Witteveen+Bos we are excited to have reached this important step towards the application for the environmental permit for Deltatorr and Deltanor in Delfzijl, the Netherlands. DeltaTorr is the name of the development of a carbonisation plant to convert woody residues to biocarbon. In Deltanor, built on the same plot, the biocarbon is then gasified to produce Syngas that will be converted into biomethanol.
Methanol forms the basis for the manufacturing of a range of our day-to-day products manufactured by the chemical industry. Biomethanol has the same properties as grey methanol (from fossil origin) and can replace grey methanol as a green substitute.
