BONCUS

Trioworld Harlingen officially (News) opened the world’s first industrial-scale BONCUS installation for flexographic printing.  

Developed by Pure Infinity, the system captures solvents from printing exhaust air and converts them into biogas. The biogas is used on site to generate heat and electricity, reducing the factory’s reliance on fossil fuels. According to Trioworld and Pure Infinity, the installation could reduce fossil fuel consumption by up to 75%.
